Description
Help Algebra 1 students practice finding slope from two points with this self-checking digital pixel art activity. Students use the slope formula to calculate the slope of a line given two points on the line. This includes positive, negative, fractional and zero slope. Not undefined slopes.
The built-in self-checking format gives students immediate feedback while keeping prep and grading time low for you.
How it works:
Students calculate the slope from and type their solutions as ordered pairs. Each correct answer reveals part of the pixel art image. Incorrect answers do not reveal pixels, prompting students to revisit their work without interrupting instruction.

MICROSOFT NOTE: Once downloaded to excel, the problem pictures may be distorted based on the device and screen size. After you purchase and download this activity, you can adjust the size of the problem pictures to fit in the boxes before giving it to students.
TIP: Be sure to give your students a copy where they CANNOT edit your original. Be sure to delete the answers before sharing with your students. This will make the picture disappear.
