Description
Looking for a way to help students identify transformations of exponential functions in Algebra 2? This self-checking, differentiated circuit worksheet gives students structured practice for transformations. The print-and-go format builds accuracy and fluency while reinforcing transformations of exponential functions through built-in accountability.
The first version has the standard level of difficulty for students to show mastery. This version includes an extension problem at the end. You can leave it optional or assign it to students as a “challenge” to try.
The second version has questions that are at a basic level of difficulty for students who are struggling with the topic. Instead of having an extension problem, a “helpful hints” section guides students as they complete this circuit worksheet.
Here’s what is included:
➡️ 10 self-checking questions per version
➡️ 2 Versions – one with an extension question & one with helpful hints
➡️ A detailed answer key
➡️ Student check-in, formative assessment
Here’s how it works:
Students solve the first problem, go find their answer in another box at with a different problem, and repeat the process. Students will know they have completed the circuit once all problems have been answered and they end up back at the first question box.
