Once all the student pieces are finished, it will create one large tessellation bulletin board display. This is a great way to engage your students and decorate your classroom!

Here’s how it works:

Print each set on colored paper – #1-4 on one color, #5-8 on another.

Print enough copies for each student to have one set every student has 2 blank tessellation sheets with 4 pieces on each. There are 8 questions total.

Students will graph each quadratic function on each section of the tessellation piece and then cut it out.

Finally, collect all of the students’ tessellation pieces and put them up on the bulletin board, interlocking the pieces to create one big tessellation design.
