Looking for a community-building back-to-school activity to get to know your High School students? Look no further! This All About Me collaborative tessellation activity is just what you need. This activity is a great way to begin building community among your students from day 1.

Once all the student pieces are finished, it will create one large tessellation bulletin board display. Perfect to show off at back-to-school night!

Students, Teachers, Staff, and Parents will love looking at the display of your students’ work on your classroom wall!

Here’s what is included:

➡️ Blank tessellation pencil piece

➡️ 8 questions sheet for students to answer

➡️ Examples of completed pieces & bulletin board design

Here’s how it works:

• Print enough copies for each student to have one (and yourself!)
• Students will personalize their pencil tessellation piece based on their answers to the questions, and then cut it out
• Collect all of the students’ tessellation pieces and put it up on the bulletin board, interlocking the pieces to create one big tessellation design
