Description
Help Algebra 1 students practice writing linear equations in point-slope form with this self-checking digital pixel art activity. Students are given a point and a slope and must correctly write the equation in point-slope form to reveal the hidden image.
As students enter correct answers, the pixel art gradually appears. Incorrect answers do not reveal pixels, encouraging students to slow down, check their work, and self-correct. This low-prep digital activity works well for independent practice, review, or assessment in both in-person and online classrooms.
How It Works
Students write linear equations using the point-slope formula based on a given point and slope. Each correct response reveals part of the pixel art image. Incorrect answers provide immediate feedback without interrupting instruction.

TIP: Be sure to give your students a copy where they CANNOT edit your original. Be sure to delete the answers before sharing with your students. This will make the picture disappear.
